
Abstract acrylic painting on 12 x 12 inch stretched canvas.
This is the first painting I did “in” my abstract style. I use parenthesis because the style was still being developed and changed quickly thereafter.
Now my paintings tend to have bigger shapes of solid color in the background and smaller details added on top. The older paintings have more lines and less clarity of division between shapes.
I think Watch was my second painting in this style and Evade the third. If you look at those and then look at my other paintings you can see the evolution.
You certainly can see the difference between this one and your last post Dandelion. Your laydown is much cleaner now.I suppose your purpose gets clearer as you develop. Thanks for the insight, it is interesting.
